Rejuvenating Yoghurt Face Scrub

Especially recommended for SENSITIVE skins

This recipe is a gentle scrub which we use in our skindeli facials for extremely sensitive skins. This recipe uses the the natural acids in the yoghurt (lactic acid) and orange/ lemon juice (citric acid) to loosen the glue between the dead skin cells, leaving the skin smooth and soft. Take care not to use this recipe if your skin is sunburned.

Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of fresh plain yoghurt (bio-dynamic yoghurt would be great!)
- 3 tablespoons of Ground oatmeal
- 1 teaspoon of fresh orange or lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of green clay
- 1 teaspoon of fresh natural honey

Directions:
1) Mix the ground oatmeal with the yoghurt, then add the green clay and honey. Mix well for 3-5 minutes
2) Add the fresh orange / lemon juice to the mixture and mix well just before using. If you have extremely sensitive skin, reduce the amount of fresh juice or do not add any at all.
3) Cleanse your face thoroughly with a gentle cleanser.
4) Use a small amount of the face scrub mixture and massage on your skin gently, using small circular motion, paying particular attention on the T-zone if necessary.
5) Rinse off and follow with a toner and moisturiser.

Recommended Frequency:
Use once a week for extremely sensitive/dry skins, and 2-3 times a week for normal/combination skins.
